Make More Money – The Departed
The Departed.
From the moment it hit theaters, The Departed became an instant classic. Even after seeing it over 50 times, if it’s an option on a flight, you bet I’m tuning in.
While a gangster movie might not seem relatable to everyday life, there’s a scene in The Departed that hits home for me. You know the one I’m talking about – where French lays down the truth.
You whine. You play the victim. You complain.
“My rankings went down,” “Facebook banned my account,” “My copy isn’t converting.”
Blah. Blah. Blah.
Laa Dee Fricken Daa
Nobody cares. Nobody wants to hear it. Yet here you are, still complaining.
Laa Dee Fricken Daa
Nobody cares. No one gives a shit. No one wants to hear it. Yet you keep whining.
Enough with the excuses. Deep down, you know what needs to be done. But instead, you’re choosing to wallow in laziness, self-pity, or fear. It’s so bad you can’t even tie your shoes. Okay, maybe you can tie your shoes, but do you really want me to come knocking on your door to set you straight?
Me: “This is America. If you can’t make money, you’re a d*bag. So what are you going to do?”
You: “Make more money!”
Me: “That’s the spirit!”
Rock On.
